Satt och bläddrade i en bok (german insigna of ww2) och kollade på ett av de sista kapitlen, där är det en bild av reinhard heinrich, som vad jag vet ledde säkerhetstjänsten tills han blev mördad, men på uniformen bär han 2 luftwaffe märken, det ena är iallefall antagligen flygspanings märket eller pilot märket (är inte vidare bra på luftwaffe märken så det kan vara fel) Var han pilot utbildad med??

Gjorde ledningen nervös...
Om jag minns rätt så flög RH ngn form av jaktplan redan vid invasionen av Polen, vilket givetvis gjorde herrar Hitler & Himmler nervösa, och stort ansvar för RH´s säkerhet belastade Göring. Har också för mig att RH satt vid spakarna under inledningen av Barbarossa. Ska kolla i arkivet ikväll.
Menar du Reinhard Heydrich så var han från början marinofficer, men tvingades lämna flottan 1931 efter en skandal. Samma år gick han med i nazistpartiet och senare i SS, där han snabbt steg i graderna. Jag känner inte till något samband med Luftwaffe.

Hittade lite gammal text, källor är bla Kersten´s och Schellenberg´s memoarer:
"At the beginning of the German campaign in the West Heydrich passed his fighter pilot examination. During the campaign in Norway he flew from Stavanger several reconnaissance flights over England and Scotland with a Me 110. For his heroic way of acting he was awarded with the bronzene Frontflugspange and the Eiserne Kreuz II. Klasse. In the middle of May 1940 he was back in Berlin. On 1st January 1940 he became Reichsleiter des Fachamtes Fechten im NS-Reichsbund für Leibesübungen. During the campaign in Russia Heydrich served once more as a fighter pilot in southern Russia and was awarded with the silberne Frontflugspange and the Eiserne Kreuz I. Klasse"
"Soon after the beginning of the war he persuaded Hitler, who was at first reluctant, to let him go on active service as a pilot, and would not rest until, on the strength of a certain number of operations against the enemy - on one of which he had to make a forced landing behind the Russian lines - he received the Iron Cross First Class"
Och visst tjänstgjorde RH i flottan, bla lärde han känna sin "gode vän" Canaris redan då.
