1. Polish Army Museum which John mentioned: yes, there is an armour display outside. Quite good, not Kubinka but not too shabby either. Mostly ex-Soviet stuff from WW2 and beyond. T34, IS2, SU152, ISU122, BTR152 etc. Good artillery collection, I particularly like the section where they show various MRLs from Katyushas to BM24, and SSM mobile launchers. Some US/UK exhibits, again mostly WW2 (Shermans, halftracks, 25pdr) but there also is an M107 parked right after you enter the museum grounds. Some German stuff, I remember an SPW 250,Hetzer, FH18, Leo1 in good order and various damaged guns and AFV parts. Also planes, WW1 guns, some naval guns. General military exhibition indoors.
2. Armour and artillery exhibition at Fort Czerniakow. I like it better than the Army Museum one. The place is smallish but I think the number of tank exhibits is about the same as in the Museum, and I think the Fort ones are more interesting and in better shape. Almost exclusively Soviet stuff (I remember one Sherman but that's it). There is an IS3, assorted T55s (two are upgraded models and you can go inside one of the plain vanilla ones if you chase away all the kids swarming around it), a t-72 and the usual T34s, SUs, BRDMs and BMPs. Some interesting variants (BRDM1 Sagger launcher ). Also artillery exhibition. Really good SAM and AAA exhibition, I was impressed by that one.
3. Warsaw Uprising Museum. This is not exactly armour related but it is unique for Warsaw, so you might want to check it out anyway. I have not been there myself but generally the people say it's good. I don't know what is their English language capability, though.
