Det är bättre att ge givna ramar och sedan bygga sin flotta efter det, inte lasa sig till riktiga konstruktioner utan kanske bygga en "la Jeune ecole" flotta at sverige.

Nej det var den ju inte, men då det bara gällde fyra pjäser så är dubellavettage överlägset på ALLA plan( med undantag att du riskerar förlora halva batteriet vid en träff) Det fanns ju en anledning till att man ställde upp de svåra kanonenrna så....Att bara ha hälften av pjäserna bärande oavsett målvinkel känns ju som lite slöseri...typ....

Varför deplaciment i stället för £? Är det inte bättre med en monitär begränsning, det speglar ju totalkostnaden för fartyget på ett betydligt bättre sätt en deplaciment! Vill ni att vi ska börja tidigare? Det löser dock inte problemet, vi måste endå komma överens om en gemensam utgångspungt. Om vi flyttar bakåt till 1880, måste vi endå komma överäns om vilka fartyg som fanns innan. Vi skulle kunna flytta ända tillbaka till 1850 då ss startar, men jag måste erkänna att jag inte är lika intresserad av så gamla fartyg. Jag ser helst att vi reder ut det här lite snärtigt så vi kan börja bygga 1910, så vi kommer igång.

Jag tycker vi börjar 1910 nu, kör på Stofilens sammansättning, sen kan vi enas om hur de olika skeppen ska se ut när det blir aktuellt med ombyggnad för någon. Eller så kan vi ju strunta helt i att bygga om de äldre och istället ersätta dom med nybyggen. Första perioden : 1910-1915 Budget: 2,5 m£ max TVÅ skepp kölsträckta per år, byggtid 3år för skepp på 3 000-7 000 ton, 7 000 ton+= 4 år, MAX 6 skepp under byggnad samtidigt. Inga oljepannor under perioden!
Stofilen: Sverige ser ok ut tycker jag, bara maskineriet, 1905 känns som lite tidigt för ångturbiner. Tyskarna började inte med det förrän 1910 och Sverige 1912. Tripellexpasioner känns mer realistiskt. Vad säger ni ?

Ja jag har också tänkt på det. Staten skjuter nog till lite extra pengar pga krigsläget, 3.5milj låter bra. Pansarbåtsinsamlingen hur blir det med den? Den borde väl ligga i perioden 1910-1915, bör vi inte ta imot svenska folkets patriotiska gåva?
