(Källa : Times online)Nazi faces justice after 58 years
A Nazi SS commander on trial for a 1944 wartime massacre of Italian prisoners has denied murder charges. Friedrich Engel, 93, who headed the elite SS in Genoa, has appeared before a Hamburg state court in what could be Germany's last Nazi war crimes trial, saying he did not order the killings. He is charged with the May 19, 1944 shootings of 59 Italian captives in revenge for an attack on a cinema for German troops four days earlier that left five dead and 15 injured.
