Slaget om Camotes Islands

Är det någon som vet något om slaget om Camotes islands? Har letat mej gul och blå efter mer info än den som står på Wikipedia.
Ska dit om 2 veckor så jag tänkte utbilda mej lite om öarnas historia under andra världskriget

Få se... Filippinerna, förstår att det är striderna i januari 1945 du letar efter. Hittar inte så förfärligt mycket om det, vilket skulle kunna bero på att operation var relativt ospännande jämfört med annat som hände samtidigt.

Meanwhile two new landings on small Philippine islands that formerly had great value to the Japanese during the Leyte campaign were announced. The islands were Ponson and Poro, in the Camotes islands, where the landings were made unopposed, respectively on Jan. 15 and 18. The Camotes lie midway between Leyte and Cebu and served as important hideouts for enemy barges plying with reinforcements and supplies between Cebu and Ormoc - principal Japanese base for the Ormoc Valley forces. Barges sneaking out of Cebu under cover of darkness were able to reach the Camotes by daybreak, lie safely there twelve hours and then complete the run to Ormoc at night.
The Japanese had protected the islands by land batteries to keep our torpedo patrols at a distance while barges were sheltered in the narrow channel between the two islands.

Inte just på/vid Camotes islands hände det så mycke, men om du vidgar dig lite (Filippinerna), så var det stora drabbningar med sjö och flygstyrkor inblandade.
