P109+ is a mostly southern Scandinavian subclade, with a presence in all the regions settled by the Danish Vikings. It has been found sporadically in many parts of Europe, such as western Iberia, northern Italy, the Balkans, Lithuania and Russia

"To my surprise three of the four tested Y4115 individuals had descents from individuals within a 35 mile radius circle and the fourth to the
west in Skaane about 135 miles. (Kalmar, Karlskrona, Lund). There is no genealogical link between the four that I am aware of. The differences in STR are mutually in the range of 8 to 14 which would indicate a
TMRCA on the order of 1,000 years for all of us".

"My earliest ancestor (born before 1480) lived in the village of Fulstow in North East Lincolnshire, near to the Lincolnshire coast. This is prime Danelaw country. My best guess is that our common ancestor was a Dane living in what is now southern Sweden. It seems likely that the ancestors of those in this group who have an English descent
entered England as Danish invaders or perhaps even as Normans".
