Detta är det mer konservativa svaret på jagarbehovet under 2.vk efter de två 105mm Adlercreutz klassen och 152mm Bielke klassen. För den navalt intresserade ser att linjerna kommer från stadsjagarklassen som den mycket riktigt är inspirerad av. Jag ville skapa lite av en "super stadsjagare" denna är generellt starkare än förebilden, men något långsammare.

Jag var inte helt nöjd med Bielkes brygga, den gav ett alldeles för klumpigt och anakronistiskt intryck. Jag ritade därför om den, mer i stil med Gotlands, men även de tyska Z34 jagarna som agerat förebild för denna klass.

Forstena typen följde Ehrenstrahl typen. De delade samma skrov och maskineri men skilde sig i bestyckning. F-typen fokuserade på en stark artilleribestyckning lämpad för både ytstrid och luftförsvar. De fick en 30,5cm AUGR m/51 squid istället för det aktra torpedstället. Alla torpederna kom senare att ersättas med Rb08.

Under 1930talet övergick den svenska flottan mot en mer L'jeune ecole inspirerad doktrin. De äldre slagskeppen av Sverige-typ fasades ut och ersattes med 2st slagkryssare för sjöfartsstrid på de sju haven. De byggdes primärt som ett svar på de tyska pansarskeppen.

Ur ett historiskt perspektiv ja,iaf hyfsad koll på skärgårdsflottan. Dock sträcker sig sidan från 1860 och framåt så galärer är ganska överspelade och ersatta av monitorer. Hittar du HÄRTomTop skrev:Bra sida du håller på med, har du koll på galärer med? Typ Serafimerorden, callmar, malmö osv?
